Richard and Lynda Booth started Ryco Originals in 2004.

Richard has always been passionate about photography, in particular landscape, and build up an impressive portfolio of thousands of images. This led to the creation of Ryco Originals as a way of marketing the images through a variety of products, including jigsaws and calendars. By doing this, Richard and Lynda were able to develop a strong network of outlets whilst travelling around the UK.

The business started in a small business unit in Ripon, North Yorkshire, but soon outgrew it, and in 2006 the business moved to a bigger unit in Melmerby, near Ripon.

As the business has grown, so has the product range which now consists of traditional gift lines (mugs, fridge magnets, postcards, calendars etc.), unique products like the Mosaic-it, and the backbone to the business – jigsaws. Richard and Lynda have decided to retire, so Ryco has recently changed hands, and is now being run by Tony Sinfield who is looking at new ideas and markets to keep the business moving forward.

Tony's background in retail, marketing and business development, together with the existing, experienced team, will ensure that Ryco Originals will continue to grow.
